Can you unscramble the quotes?

A challenging brain teaser that combines the magic of quotes in an online word game.
On the game boards, quotes by men of letters, thought and fame have been inscribed onto tiles, then scattered and reshuffled to make them illegible.
Put the tiles back into their places and recover the original quote.
Pick the era you wish your quote to come from.
The tiles are then shuffled to make an interesting puzzle.
To reconstruct the quote, you must swap the tiles until you get every original word.
The tiles can only be swapped vertically, each within its own respective column.
